Since 1973, the Stewart W. Myers Memorial Scholarship is given every spring to a high school senior residing in Carroll County, Maryland, who is planning to attend college and major in music the following fall. The award is based on demonstration of outstanding musical ability and serves as recognition of unusual talent. The honor includes a scholarship in the amount of $500.00 paid to the college or school of music to be attended.
