Instrument Trial Policy
Stu's Music Shop understands the need to try an instrument before purchase.
We encourage long playing sessions in our in-house practice studios where
you can try one instrument against the next. But when you've narrowed it
down to one (or two) instruments and you need to "try it in the hall" or
"play it for your teacher," we are happy to oblige.
Instruments can be taken from our store "on trial" for periods up to
one or two weeks. We just ask that you conform to the following policy:
This policy applies to all pro instruments, leadpipes, mouthpieces,
cases, and pro accessories taken or mailed on trial.
The word "instrument" in this policy means instruments, leadpipes, mouthpieces,
etc.
-
Customer will be held responsible for any damage to the instrument(s)
while on loan.
-
A credit card imprint will be made to cover the cost of the instrument.
-
Instruments may be tried for 1 week (longer trials available only on special
arrangement). Extra time will be allotted to mail customers.
-
If the instrument is not returned by the end of the trial period, it will
be charged to your credit card.
-
Opening of a shipping carton from us constitutes acceptance of this policy.
-
If mailing the instrument back to us, you are responsible for adequate
insurance and proper packing.
For our long-distance customers, you will be responsible for all shipping
charges whether you purchase this instrument or not. At this time we have
no "restocking fees." If you have any questions regarding this policy,
please do not hesitate to call us (410) 876-7585 or 1-800-908-7585 (in
the U.S.).
This policy is subject to change at any time. Publication (electronic or
otherwise) does not constitue an implied agreement to allow instrument
trial in all instances. For further information, please contact Larry or
Don at (410) 876-7585.
